The possibilities are endless...
Our vision for Irvine Bay is that through re-discovering the coast and our connections to Glasgow, we will create a vibrant Irvine Bay with a strong economy, a high quality of life and an enhanced environment.
The vision is developed through the five themes set out below. These look at:
- I Work - The economy of the area.
- I Live - The quality of life for existing and new residents.
- I Sea - Rediscovering the sea.
- I Play - Promoting leisure activities within the area.
- I Bay - Transforming the area's image.
Each of these themes feeds into a series of proposed projects and into the masterplans for each of the towns. They are also guided by a set of principles to ensure that all of the projects are viable, sustainable, command local support and are of the highest quality.
