Annickbank goes to tender

12 October 2007

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company, the URC based in North Ayrshire, is seeking a developer partner for a commercial office space development on a six acre site on the fringe of Irvine town centre.

The site at Annickbank is the first commercial development site to come to the market from Irvine Bay, one of Scotland's five URCs.

Patrick Wiggins, Chief Executive said: "Our research shows there is a strong demand for  small offices ranging from about 140 sq m upwards based in office pavilions for sale or rent.

"This site is ideally placed on the fringe of Irvine town centre and has some of the best accessible transport connections in the area."

Total gross floor area for the site could be in the region of 7,500- 8,000 sq m in Stage 1.

The URC will work with its developer partner to achieve a development which will meet BREEAM Very Good standard, use building materials with a low impact on the environment and provide a long term estate management strategy.
